Welcome to our service yard. The woody Scandinavian vibes has always been a fave but the theme in this space grew from the little hanging wooden xmas ornament. It expanded to a rattan mushroom hut that stores the cable for a rechargeable mini washer machine, rattan mini “briefcase”that stores our washer bags. + a little wooden peg board to house our tin of laundry pods, an essential oil lamp & and a few decorative items. Dreaming of a cosy wooden cottage, by the fireplace, on a cold winter day. Doing the laundry can be mundane but the mundane can be romanticised because why not😊

A look in from the kitchen. To give it a feel of looking out of a window, we put 3 mini artificial plants here. We also have our automated laundry rack remote controller here. A wooden “Laundry Room” sign finishes the look.
Here’s a close up of the hanging wooden ornament that started it all. The inspiration for the aesthetics of this area expanded from this.
