Our first piece of furniture that we found was a piece of sofa . A ~3m long sofa and that was the brief we gave to our ID - how can we have a 3m long sofa in a 4room BTO.
By knocking down 2 common bedrooms, we transformed the space into 1 spacious living room. Big enough for our sofa, with a 75 inch tv for the best movie / Netflix experience.
Add a cosy throw - and it becomes our day bed for afternoon naps on a lazy weekend :) the sofa has really nice armrests that’s filled with feathers inside and doubles as a comfy pillow . We love how we can easily occupy one side each without fighting for space.
Another feature we love in our living room is our 5.3m long settee. This gives us so much storage; and guess what, while it looks like it’s floating, it’s actually recessed with a base to double up as a seating area. Our guests come over and happily sit on the settee and talk to those on the sofa. This layout made conversations so much easier when hosting a big group of friends!
Style your settee with little things you love. We have our little clock there and our candle on the side.
Add some cushions on the side and turn it to a reading corner. We love how multi-functional and adaptable this space can become .
Don’t you love how the light rays pour into the space in the day for extra cosy vibes?
