Welcome to #themaomaohome!
Being a plant parent can be a really fun and fulfilling hobby.
Remember that while being a plant parent is a responsibility, one should not be hard on themselves when the plant does not grow as expected.
Here are some things that we do #themaomaohome way! Read till the end for a bonus tip.
Tip #1:
A dedicated space for your plants makes it easier to monitor all your lovely greens at a glance.
Sometimes, it's easy to forget to water your babies in the more obscure corners of the house.
Keep it simple! Have them at a dedicated spot.
Tip #2:
Choose plants which are hydroponic! They are easy to care for and look good in glassware.
Some plants like this Philodendron Xanadu can be planted with substrate or in a hydroponic environment.
The hydroponic one here makes for a pleasing touch to our dining table. Do some research and pick plants which suit your styling needs!
Tip #3:
Take a measured approach.
Different plants have different needs. We bought a 3 way soil meter to measure moisture, PH levels and light. It helped identify the right spots to place our plants.
Bonus tip:
Caring for plants can be simple and easy especially so when you pick evergreens and easy to maintain ones!
