    Welcome to our very basic but unique service yard! What makes it unconventional is having our fridge placed here. Wanting more workspace in the kitchen, so we decided to put it in the yard instead.

    The original service yard door and windows from HDB were hacked away and an archway was crafted. This gives us easy access to the fridge, while still having some visual segregation between the kitchen and laundry area.

    There's a space beside the fridge and we are thinking of adding some open shelves or a low rack for storage, since anything unsightly would be perfectly hidden away behind the fridge!

    Hangers are hidden by the side of the washing machine with a magnetic rack. Laundry essentials such as clothes pegs and detergent are organized on a mini rack. Perhaps built-in cabinetry would be practical here, but we do like how minimalistic our service yard looks!
